Remixpoint Liquidates Ethereum and Altcoin Portfolio in Strategy Realignment
Japanese company Remixpoint has divested its full Ethereum holding alongside other altcoins to focus its corporate reserves entirely on Bitcoin.
Japanese listed firm Remixpoint has completed the full liquidation of its altcoin reserves, including Ethereum, Solana, XRP, and Dogecoin, as part of a shift to retain only Bitcoin in its cryptocurrency treasury.
Disclosures published by the company show the altcoins were sold on September 1 for a total of ¥878.8 million ($4.47 million), compared to an aggregate book value of ¥761.0 million ($3.87 million). The transaction yielded an overall gain of ¥117.8 million ($598,400), with the Ethereum divestment accounting for ¥60.2 million ($305,900) of that total.
Remixpoint plans to recognize the realized gains as business-segment revenue in the quarter ending March 31, 2027. The company stated that the capital generated from the sales may be deployed toward battery-storage initiatives and overall corporate balance sheet support.
These two are not the same thing, and one does not produce the other. The left is how this single article reads, from its tone alone. The right is the site’s own call on the asset, from indicators and analysis. Press tone feeds no score and no signal: on the only corpus this site has measured, daily tone tracked the move that had already happened and showed no measurable link with what followed.
