GoBTC Pay Releases WooCommerce Plugin for On-Chain Bitcoin Payments
GoMining's GoBTC Pay has launched a free WordPress plugin allowing WooCommerce merchants to accept on-chain Bitcoin payments directly at checkout.
GoMining’s payment solution, GoBTC Pay, has introduced an official plugin for WooCommerce, enabling WordPress e-commerce merchants to accept Bitcoin directly on their websites. The tool is available at no cost through the WordPress Plugin Directory and allows businesses to integrate cryptocurrency checkout functionality without developing custom infrastructure.
Transactions through the plugin are processed on-chain using the GoBTC Pay protocol, with store owners managing the feature through their existing WordPress administrative dashboard. GoBTC Pay General Manager Roman Yermoshyn stated that integrating with WordPress targets a major segment of the digital retail sector.
The integration aims to reduce technical barriers to merchant crypto adoption, such as confirmation delays and integration overhead. GoMining is also preparing an update for November 2026 to provide instant transaction confirmations for customers utilizing the GoMining Wallet.
